First Term in the Bag!

I can't believe it's already the end of December! The term has flown by and I've truly enjoyed teaching this year's Grade 4 group. Although I haven't formally assigned any homework, students are encouraged to continue reading everyday for pleasure. They are free to go to readworks.org to continue working through levelled reading passages. Class code is MMACLY
Students are also welcome to practice math and grammar skills on IXL. Login info is student's initial and last name @vancouvertalmud  ex: tmorrell@vancouvertalmud and password is whatever they use to login into their school laptops.

If you are staying around here or venturing somewhere warm or snowy, I wish you a safe and happy holiday.

I'll see you all again in 2019!

We wrapped up our science unit on animal and human senses last week by participating in hands-on activities. How does the walrus use touch to locate food? How is binocular vision beneficial for predators? How does echolocation work? How do animals hear without ears?

Canada Quiz

The results from the Canada quiz were not as strong as I was hoping for so we will be having a re-test  tomorrow. The average of both quizzes will be the final grade. Please note that if your child scored 13/13, they will not need to re-write the test.
