Provinces and Territories

As we are learning about Canada in social studies, students are asked to memorize the 10 provinces and 3 territories.

In class we are working on assignments, learning songs, and playing games to help retain the information.

There will be a quiz on Wednesday, November 13th.

What's in a sentence?

Today we took quite some time to explore complete sentences, sentence fragments, and run-on sentences. I was pleased to see that most students grasped the idea and performed very well on the online games we played.

For tutors and parents who would like to support sentence composition at home, please click here.

For sentence and other grammar games, click here.
